Oh my goodness

I can't believe that Thanksgiving is next week! Christmas is everywhere already (including my living room). The semester is almost over and I signed up for my last classes today :) yay! So much going on and the energy is dwindling, but once I get some B12 in me I'll hopefully have my batteries recharged and get back to working on stuff in my house!

I did finally get my last coat of poly on the stairs today and I'm going to give it until wednesday before I tape it off to paint the trim and stair risers. I need to add some pictures soon to show you the progress. Which I've got some I can add now. But I will wait to show you the finished produce because I am adding a little touch of awesomeness that I want to keep a semi secret ;)
So here the progress so far.




This is at the beginning (so long ago lol)



This is after the metal edging off, the stick on tile off and then the beginning of removing the next layer (whatever it was - the devil). While taking this final layer off, my friend Jake Niven, lovingly, allowed to me to borrow his heat gun. Saved me a lot of time, but I now have a permanent reminder on my wrist :/



Finally stripped of the layers, but the glue still needed to be stripped off. They were so sticky that if you lingered too long it took extra effort to get off lol.



She's not sure what the heck I'm doing, but doesn't care as long as she doesn't get stuck too.

Well this is all the updates I've got so far but more to come.
